In order to receive your Vietnam visa on arrival, you have to pay for two kinds of fees: Service fee and Stamping fee.
1/ Visa Service fee: Fee to arrange the visa approval letter from Vietnam immigration for picking up your Vietnam visa on arrival at Vietnam airports. Please note that you can only get visa stamp on arrival only if you already had the visa approval letter. Without this letter, you cannot get visa onto your passport. So, you must apply for this approval letter in advance (at least 2 working days before arrival date). 2/ Visa Stamp fee: Fee pay to get visa stamp on your passport when you collect your visa on arrival. Stamping fee to get visa on arrival at Vietnam airport is:
- 1 month single entry: 25 USD
- 1 month multiple entry: 50 USD
- 3 months single entry: 25 USD
- 3 months multiple entry: 50 USD
- 6 months multiple entry: 95 USD
- 1 year multiple entry: 135 USD
Note:
Many people think they can get visa on arrival at the airport directly without the approval letter arranged before their trip, but in fact it is not true. Without the visa approval letter, you will be refused to collect visa on arrival.
Visa On Arrival is only accepted if you arrive at the airports. In case you enter Vietnam through border crossing or seaports, you should apply E-visa.
