1/ What is Vietnam business visa for Japanese? How long is business visa for Japanese valid?

Step 1: Get the Vietnam business visa sponsorship letter

The sponsor company in Vietnam will apply for Vietnam business visa sponsorship letter (also known as Vietnam business visa invitation letter, business visa approval letter, or Vietnam entry permit) with the Vietnam Immigration Department. The documents are:

• Japanese passport
• Certified copy of Business registration of the sponsor company
• Form NA2
• Form NA16
• other documents as required.

This process will take around 5 – 7 working days since receipt of full required documents by the Immigration.

If the application is approved, the Immigration Department of Vietnam will:

• issue the sponsorship letter to the sponsor company, and also

The sponsor company will send the invitation letter obtained in step 1 to Japanese applicants. They need to print it out, and put it with other required documents, including but not limited to:

• a completed Vietnam visa application form,
• Japanese original passport,
• photos,

Step 3: Get Business visa stamp for Japanese

After your visa approval letter is approved, it will be faxed to Vietnamese embassy in Japan. Japanese applicants need to come to the embassy and submit these above documents.

3.2/ Getting Vietnam business visa on arrival for Japanese 2025

The process to get a business visa on arrival for Japanese is almost the same as getting an embassy business visa for Japanese. However, instead of getting the visa stamped by the Vietnam embassy, Japanese will get it stamped at Vietnam airport upon arrival.

Its process is as follows:

Step 1: Get the Vietnam business visa sponsorship letter for Japanese

The sponsor in Vietnam will get the business visa sponsorship letter from the Vietnam Immigration Department and send it to Japanese applicant.

Step 2: Prepare documents for business visa stamping

Japanese businessmen will need to prepare:
