Processing time for Vietnam work permit application for foreign workers

Processing time for a work permit application depends on each case.

+ For new work permit application: It is necessary to submit an explanation of the need to recruit foreign workers at least 30 days in advance. After completing the set of documents required by law, submitting a new application and after 7 working days (excluding Saturday, Sunday and public holidays) you can receive a work permit.

+ For reissuance work permit: It is necessary to submit an explanation of the need to recruit foreign workers at least 30 days in advance and submit the application for reissuance at least 5 days, but not more than 45 days before expiry date of the old work permit. From 3 to 5 days (excluding Saturday, Sunday and public holidays), it is possible to receive work permit result.
