After applying visa approval letter online, the letter will be sent to me by email or by courier? Do I need to take the original letter? Or the hard copy? Or the soft copy?

The approval letter is applied online, and it will be delivered to applicants online as well. After 2 working days from the date of submitting application, the applicants will receive the approval letter though email.

When coming to Vietnam, you are required to submit the hard copy of approval letter, so you have to print it out. It’s not required to use the original letter, so you no need to get it through post office or courier. It is one of the most excellent point that approval letter brings to the applicant. But you should make sure that you type the correct email when applying online because it will be used to send your approval letter. In urgent cases, the approval letter can be accepted by its soft copy, but we do not recommend you to use the soft copy when coming to Vietnam. You need to prepare the hard copy to submit visa application on arrival.
