This letter will allow you boarding the airplane and getting visa stamp at the airport. Without this letter, you cannot get visa on arrival. And this letter is applied online before you come to Vietnam. In order to get Vietnam visa on arrival, you have to do two steps:
Step 1: Apply online to get the “visa approval letter”
- Click here to apply for a “visa approval letter”
- After 2 working days for processing, your visa approval letter will be sent to your email address
Step 2: Get visa stamp at the airport
- Print out the visa approval letter to get on the airplane
- At arrival, come to the “landing visa counter” or “visa upon arrival counter”
- Submit visa approval letter + passport + photos + Vietnamese visa application form
