1.3/ British apply Vietnam E-Visa in Thailand 2025

- Start the online application through Vietnam E-visa application website https://www.vietnamimmigration.com/apply-vietnam-visa/
- Attach a scanned copy of your British passport as well as a digital picture of yourself
- Enter all the required information on the online application form
- Pay the Vietnam e-Visa fee
- Wait for the visa to be processed (three working days)
- After visa is approved, it will be sent to British applicant’s email
- British have to download the PDF file and then print as hard copy
Vietnam E-visa can allow British to fly from Bangkok to Vietnam. British just need to show visa and passport when landing.
However, when British apply Vietnam e Visa, British must specify the entry port. British can only enter the country from the entry port which showed in E-visa approval. Vietnam E-visa for British is valid for a single-entry, and for a maximum of 30 days.

Vietnam has lifted all entry restrictions with Covid-19 for all nationalities. British flying from Bangkok to Vietnam only need to prepare original passport which is valid for more than 6 months + a valid Vietnam visa for boarding the airplane.

- British are not required to show Covid-19 vaccination certificate when flying from Thailand to Vietnam
