It’s officially informed by Vietnam Immigration Department: Hong Kong and Macao passport holders can apply Vietnam electronic visa again, from February 19^th, 2020.

The restriction for applying Vietnam electronic visa for Hong Kong and Macao SAR has been released. Accordingly, Hong Kong and Macao citizens can submit electronic visa application to Vietnam from now on. The procedure to apply Vietnam electronic visa is the same as before:

Step 2: Fill out the online application form

Note: Please choose “Evisa, 30 days single entry” in “visa type” category. And then you can choose tourist visa or business visa in “purpose” category.

Step 3: Upload passport scanned and digital photo

The digital photo must be taken clearly, show full face and in white background. The passport scanned must be showed clearly the applicants’ information.

Step 4: Get result through email

After two working days, the electronic visa will be sent to your email. You just need to print it out and use it to get through immigration check.
