This information is officially updated from Vietnam Immigration department, which is just released today. From now on, Hong Kong and Macao passports holders can apply visa to Vietnam like what they did before.

Coming back to a week before, when the Wuhan corona virus are spreading rapidly from countries to countries, becoming the biggest concern of all people, Vietnam Government has stopped electronic program for Hong Kong and Macao SAR. At that time, Hong Kong and Macao can only apply visa on arrival with restrictions. Business visa is temporarily stopped, and urgent visa is impossible for Hong Kong and Macao passport holders in this time.

The virus situation is now getting better. And all restrictions for applying Vietnam visa are released for Hong Kong and Macao passports. Both tourist and business visa, electronic visa and on-arrival visa, 1-month and 3-month visa, single and multiple visa types are available for Hong Kong and Macao citizens. Moreover, Hong Kong and Macao passport holders can apply urgent visa by adding extra fee in case they need a rushed visa.
